Hello and welcome to the Year 6 Home Learning page!
I know some of you may (or may not!) have been excited about Year 6 being able to come back to school in the next couple of weeks. I was really looking forward to seeing you all but it is so important that we wait until it is as safe as possible to reopen the school. I will therefore be continuing to upload home learning work to this page until we get more information about reopening. Fingers crossed that it won't be too long before we can be back in the classroom returning to some kind of "normal"
Like last term, I will be uploading work to the Reading, English, Maths & New Topic sections on a Monday. I will be uploading spelling activities on a Friday. You can also continue to do the activities on the Music section (I have added lots of new music activities) and PSHE section which will be updated every couple of weeks.
You may also notice that I have added a 'Transition to High School' section on the website. On this page I will upload anything that is sent by the high schools to help with your transition or any general transition resources that I think may be helpful.
If you run out of things to do, have a look on the BBC Bitesize page as they are going to be uploading lots of new activities with some celebrity teachers!
Please do send me an email as I love hearing from you! You can send me pictures of your work if you like or even just let me know how you are getting on!
***The Week Junior Magazine***
If you live close to school, you can visit the school foyer (Monday - Friday between 9am and 3pm) to pick up a copy of The Week magazine. We get 5 copies per week and will leave them in the foyer. It will be on a first come first serve basis.
