SCIENCE

This week we have been conducting comparative tests to understand how magnets attract and repel paperclips. It was a very exciting lesson as we were able to make a kite fly with the force of the magnet's attraction acting upon the paperclip. We also investigated how long the paperclip chain could be whilst being attracted to the magnet.

Following on from our lesson on the push and pull forces, we braved the cold weather in groups and demonstrated various freeze frames of different pulling and pushing motions.

In Science this week we have been conducting an experiment to identify whether different surfaces influence the distance a toy car will travel. The class thoroughly enjoyed getting stuck in and reporting their findings.
