Self Portraits

This week the children have been working hard

to create a self-portrait.

Firstly we watched a powerpoint that talked

through the stages ofcreating a self

potrait. We discussed the position

and shape of the eyes, then the nose and mouth.

We then looked at the position opf the ears

in relation to the mouth and nose. After

this we used mirrors to check

the colour and shape of our eyes, nose,

mouth, skin colour and freckles.

They created their self portraits using pencils

in their new sketch books.
