In this lesson, we used a range of primary sources to investigate the difference between life for the Mayan civilization compared to life for the Ancient Egyptians. We interrogated the resources and wrote our ideas as groups. After, we thought about how they both compared with our modern life here in Britain. 

This half term, our History focus is The Maya. In this lesson, we turned the classroom into a museum to use our enquiry and inference skills to question why we study the Maya in school. 


Then, in our second lesson, we researched and created timelines, to compare Mayan history, British history and other civilisations of that time.
