For our next piece of written work, Year 4 are writing a non-chronological report about world biomes. Here we are separating facts from opinion in preparation for writing.
Our first unit of work this term is based upon the book 'Bike Boy' by Jane Considine.
At the end of the unit, the children recreate their own version of the story.
Year 4 paid a visit to the local library. They began their session listening to a story read by the librarian. Following that, they took part in a treasure (book) hunt and then spent some time reading and choosing books that they would like to take home.
