For the past few weeks, Year 5 have been busy investigating properties of materials. We have completed investigations into magnetism, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. Everyone loved getting messy when we investigated how the viscosity of liquids affected magnetism, with tubes full of treacle, golden syrup and washing-up liquid.
