We have been practising subsisting and ordering numbers from 1-5. The children are able to spot patterns and say what they see. “ I can see a one and another one and a two, that’s four!”
We have looking a repeating patterns. We have tried some tricky a,b,c a,b,b and a,a,b patterns using stickers, paint, beads and computer games. We realised that we need to say the pattern out loud to help us and remember to concentrate!
We have be learning how to play dominos. This encourages us to practice counting and recognise amounts.
