As part of their Design and Technology topic on fairgrounds, Year 6 enjoyed an exciting visit to Blackpool Pleasure Beach. They took part in an educational workshop exploring the design and engineering behind the rides before experiencing the attractions themselves.
Despite the wet weather, the children remained enthusiastic throughout the day. We were incredibly proud of their impeccable behaviour—they were a credit to the school and excellent ambassadors for our community. 9 Likes

The children were delighted to meet Irene, the mummy cow, along with her adorable calves, Sunset and Joanne. There were lots of smiles, questions and excitement as the children learned more about the cows and had the opportunity to see them up close.
Sunset and Joanne certainly stole the show with their curious personalities and gentle nature, while Irene kept a watchful eye on her little ones throughout their visit. 🥰
Experiences like these help bring learning to life and create wonderful memories for our children. Thank you, Mr Cranshaw, for sharing your animals with us and making today so special! 15 Likes
The children have loved observing the caterpillars grow, form their chrysalises, and transform into beautiful butterflies. Today, we released them into the sunshine and watched them fly away!
This hands-on experience helped the children understand the different stages of a butterfly’s life cycle and sparked lots of curiosity and excitement about nature and caring for living things. 🌿✨ 11 Likes
