It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of so many of our pupils. Certificates and awards were presented to children who completed the Junior Duke Award, the Year 4 Art Award, and the Faith in Action Award. We also celebrated our Reading Raffle winners β congratulations to Amelia J and Rio P β and announced our overall House winners for the year. Well done to St Teresa's House! ππ
The assembly was also a chance to recognise and thank the incredible people who have given so much to our school community. We paid tribute to Mrs Fitz-Gibbon for her many years of dedicated service as a Governor at St Bede's.
We also thanked Mrs Parnell, Miss Sampson and Ms Surrage as they prepare to move on to new opportunities. We wish them every success and happiness for the future.
A special thank you was also given to our wonderful volunteer, Mrs McEveley, whose weekly support listening to our readers has had such a positive impact on so many children.
To round off the celebrations, our fantastic school choir received a certificate in recognition of their participation in Chorley Sings before treating us to two beautiful performances.
Thank you to everyone who helped make today's assembly such a memorable way to celebrate another fantastic year at St Bede's. We are so proud of all our children and grateful to the staff, volunteers and governors who make our school such a special place. πβ
