Today, we learnt about the different types of teeth, including incisors, canines and molars, and explored their different properties and jobs.
We then got creative and made our very own models of a mouth using Play-Doh! 👄🎨
A fun and hands-on way to learn about our teeth! 🦷✨ 1 Likes
We look forward to welcoming parents and carers to our Meet the Teacher event on Tuesday 15th September. This is a great opportunity to meet your child's class teacher, learn about the year ahead, and take a look around the classroom and learning environment.
We hope to see you there! 😊🏫✨ 6 Likes
We're looking for a few items to help enhance playtimes as part of our OPAL journey at St Bede's!
We would be grateful for donations of:
🍳 Metal pots, pans, spoons, bowls and baking trays
🎩 Dressing-up items (hats, cloaks, wigs, handbags, glasses)
🧳 Soft suitcases
🧁 Muffin tins and cake tins
🫖 Clean metal teapots and containers
These resources help children play creatively, collaboratively and imaginatively. If you have any of these items spare, we'd love to give them a new home!
Thank you for supporting our OPAL journey and helping us create even better play opportunities for our children. 💚🌿 2 Likes
A special thank you to Mrs Alexander for supporting the children as they completed their fantastic projects focused on sustainable living.
The children have shown that small actions can make a big difference and that, by working together, we can all help to build a greener, more sustainable future for our community. 4 Likes
The children spent time reading together, playing games and chatting as they got to know one another. It was wonderful to see so many smiles, new friendships beginning to form, and our older pupils showing such kindness, patience and care.
We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 children for embracing this leadership role so positively. We know they will help our Reception children feel happy, safe and confident as they begin their journey at St Bede's. 💙 9 Likes
