At St Bede's, we have planted seeds and bulbs, created flower displays in recycled tyres, taken part in No Mow May, held a community gardening day, and earned a Climate Heroes Certificate for our efforts.
It was fantastic to see the positive impact schools have made on local wildlife. We're now looking forward to our next Alliance project, which will focus on encouraging drivers to slow down and keep children safe around our schools. 1 Likes

We would like to invite all Year 1 parents to a Phonics Information Meeting on Thursday 1st October at 3:30pm in the Year 1 classroom.
This meeting will explain how phonics is taught in school, how children develop their early reading skills, and how you can support your child at home. There will also be information about the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check and opportunities to ask questions. 2 Likes

The team won both of their matches in Week 1 of the three-week league at Bamber Bridge Sports Hub. Miss Macpherson was delighted with their teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout.

If your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023, you can now apply for their Reception place for September 2027.
⭐ Join us at our Open Evening on Tuesday 22 September at 3:30pm to meet our staff, tour the school and discover life at St Bede's.
Applications close on 15 January 2027.
