Today, a group of our Year 5 children proudly represented St Bede’s at a Crown Green Bowling event at Fox Lane Cricket Club.
They showed fantastic teamwork, enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the morning and, in a wonderful achievement, remained undefeated in all six games to finish 1st out of 7 schools.
We are incredibly proud of the way they represented our school. Thank you to Miss Macpherson for accompanying and supporting the children during the event. 8 Likes
This 6-week programme provides parents and carers with practical strategies to help support their child’s language development at home.
Please note: although the training states ages 5–11, it is also suitable for parents of children in Reception.

We talked about promises we could make to help look after the Earth, enjoyed some beautiful leaf weaving, and then became ocean heroes by collecting litter from the sea and helping to save the sea creatures.
It was a wonderful morning of hands-on fun that encouraged us to appreciate and care for our amazing world. 💙🌎 3 Likes
