St Bede’s is proud to be part of The Yarrow Teaching School Alliance, an alliance of schools across the Chorley area who are working together in improving outcomes for students. The Alliance, led by the Teaching School, St George’s CE Primary School, has been in existence since Spring 2014.
Yarrow Teaching School Alliance is committed to excellence – to the sustained improvement of teaching and learning in its schools and to outstanding outcomes for the young people of Chorley. As such, Yarrow Teaching School Alliance plays a leading role in the training and professional development of teachers and leaders as well as contributing to the raising of standards through School to School Support. Through its Initial Teacher Training programme and Leadership training, it strives to ensure the supply of high calibre staff at every level. More information can be found here.
