Rocks and fossils

In Science we are looking at the fascinating world of Rocks and Fossils. Children will be classifying rocks according to their type, looking at what soil is made of and carrying out  experiments to establish the properties of different rocks. 

Year three making “soil cups” to represent how soil is made and the different layers underneath our feet.
