We have been using some online games to practice our segmenting and blending skills.
The children have been working really hard to spell simple words. They have used their robot arms to segment the sounds in the words in order to solve the challenges!
We have been learning the traditional tale The Little Red Hen. We have been learning actions to help us retell the story, creating our very own story map and using the story sequencing cards to help us internalise the story.
Today we had our first visit to the school library! We chose a book to take home and share with our family.
We have been learning how to recognise our names and spell them. Each morning the children will identify the letters in their names and use the diplodocus build them.
