Read chapters 1 - 3 of Holes by Louis Sachar then answer the following questions.
Remember to:
- answer questions in full sentences whenever possible
- keep referring back to the text
- identify key words from the question
- use skimming and scanning techniques to locate these key words then read the sentences around the key word to try and find the answer
- Sometimes you can't find the answer in the text (Inference Iggy) and you will need to use what you have read to make up your own answer
