States of Matter
Throughout Spring 1 & 2 we will be learning all about the states of matter.
The children demonstrated the formation of particles in solid, liquid and gas.
Today we tested the viscosity of different liquids, the children were challenged to complete a fair test using 5 different liquids.
We have been learning about how different solids have different melting points.
The children completed an investigation into the time taken for butter, chocolate and ice to melt.
They also tested the time taken for different types of chocolate to melt when placed in hot water.
