Next, we began to use running stitch to try and create our patterns.

Here we are designing our own patterns to use with the running stitch.

Next, we made our own looms then created a pattern by weaving strands of coloured paper through the strands, replicating producing a piece of cloth.

TEXTILES - to begin our topic, we investigated what our socks are made out of and how they are made. We found out that they are made from individual threads woven together.

1970s Jubilee Art

To celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, Year 4 created a piece of digital artwork in the style of Andy Warhol.

This is the original image that the children copied into the 'befunky' website. Their task was to use the software filters to create a piece of digital 'pop art'.
