Myself
Our first topic this year is Myself. We have been learning our friends names and we have been talking about why our names are important.
Who’s in the middle?
Judaism
During our Judaism topic we learnt that our Jewish brothers and sister celebrate Hanukkah, the Festival of Light. We listened to the story of The Oil Lamp in the Temple and made potato latkes.
Belonging
During this topic we talked about how it feels to be welcomed into nursery everyday. We also discovered how families welcome new babies. A big thank you to Ollie’s Mum and baby Ava for visiting us!
We went to visit Father Mark in church. He showed us how new babies are welcomed into God’s family by being Baptised. He explained that we are all children of God and how God loves each one of us.
