Year 2 have been lucky enough to have a visit from the life bus. The children participated in a workshop based around feelings, which links really well to our current PSHE topic. The children also had discussions around how to stay healthy! The children enjoyed their special visit from Harold the giraffe and had a great morning.

Friendships

As a class we spent time thinking about and discussing what makes a good friend and how we can be a good friend to others. The children created recipes for a good friend.

We explored the different ways we might make new friends, thinking about where we might make new friends and how we could make a new friends. The children created; Top Tips to support children when making a new friend.

When exploring friendships we thought about what causes arguments within friendships and how we can work to resolve these conflicts.

The children spent time thinking about positive play with friends. The children felt things such as; sharing, including others and taking care of children if they become upset of hurt were important when playing with friends. The children created role plays to model positive play on the playground.
