Using Maths skills to calculate averages in our Geography lesson.

In May, a team of KS2 children entered the National Mathematics Championship. The dedicated team of four practised answering quiz questions during their lunchtimes. On May 25th 2022, they managed to collect a whopping 1056 points! We’ll done to all. Here they are practising in class and working brilliantly together on championship day calculating the answers to some rather tricky questions.

Using our Maths skills when on a Geography trip to Cuerden Valley. Here we are measuring the temperature of the River Lostock. We also took an air temperature reading, measured the PH level of the river and its degree of turgidity (cleanliness).
