At the start of the term, Year Three got creative with our new topic: The Romans. Inspired by Roman Coins, the children tried their hand at creating their very own. We first began by tracing and sketching various Roman coins using different pencils for sketching. Moving on from this, we then sketched the side on profile of our classmates in preparation for our clay creations. Finally, we spent some time getting mucky with the clay and created our own super-sized coins. What a truly fantastic job Year 3!
