Expressive Art and Design
Expressive arts and design involves enabling children to explore and play with a wide range of media and materials. It also provides opportunities and encouragement for sharing their thoughts, ideas and feelings through a variety of activities in art, music, movement, dance, role-play, design and technology
The children found a snail in the garden and spotted the beautiful spiral on its shell. We used the chalks to have a go at drawing our own spirals.
In our weekly music sessions, we have been learning how to use our hands and feet to clap and stomp to the beat. We have also been learning lots of songs and rhymes about butterflies, ladybirds and bees.
