Art
We have been studying the digital artist and photographer, Mike Barrett. We have studied his work and then produced our own fine, line portrait drawing using ink pens. We then created a layered background using a range of media including paint and collage.
Our final Hockney inspired pieces of artwork. We think they look amazing!
In this lesson, we practised techniques used by Hockney such as stippling and hatching to create texture. We then completed a small-scale example of his work.
We have started our painting unit inspired by the artist David Hockney. In this lesson, we explored his many painting; read about his life and created a small picture in his style using oil pastels.
