Measurement
The children in year 2 have been exploring measurement including; length, height, mass, volume and capacity.
The children enjoyed exploring appropriate units of measure. The children went outside to explore what objects we used measure using metres. The children enjoyed predicted if they thought the objects would be more or less than a metre.
The children had lots of fun exploring volume and capacity. The children enjoyed trying to fill containers until they were full to their capacity and making predictions on which containers had the biggest capacity.
