After reading the story 'The Gingerbread Man', the children were keen to make their own gingerbread. The children learnt the names of the different ingredients and explored touching, smelling and tasting them.
We have been learning about deer antlers. We felt the antlers and talked about the words we could use to describe them, such as, bumpy, smooth, rough, pointy.
Meet Sid! He is our 'Everywhere Bear'. Each week Sid spends the weekend with one of the children. Sid loves visiting new places and meeting new people before snuggling up with a favourite book. The children love showing and telling their friends all about Sid's adventures.
We have loved listening to all the adventures Sid had been having with our wonderful families. Where will he go this week?
