Geography
This term our focus for geography has been exploring our local environment. We spent some time revisiting the UK and where we are in relation to the rest of the world. We used atlases to explore the different countries in the UK, their features and capital cities.
We have been learning about physical and human features, and what human and physical features we have in our locality. We have analysed satellite and aerial photographs to identify a variety of features. We have then used this knowledge to explore the different features on our school ground through fieldwork and observations. We have used the observations made on our trips around the school ground to create our own maps complete with map key.
