Just to let all parents know that I will be setting homework every Thursday for the following Thursday. Homework will be set on See-Saw or if preferred as a paper copy and will consolidate what we have been learning in class. I will also set spellings on a Thursday and again these will be on See-Saw and children will be tested the following Thursday. To encourage children to read as much as possible a "home reader" will be sent home every Thursday. Parents are encouraged to listen to their child read as often as possible. Each time you sign that you have listened to your child read, they will receive a point towards our in-class competition. Looks like Thursday's are going to be busy! Year 3 will be having their PE lesson also on Thursday and as you are already aware we will be going swimming every Tuesday afternoon.
