We learnt the nursery rhyme '5 Currant Buns'. The children were keen to make their own currant buns, so we found the perfect recipe in a cookery book and made a list of the ingredients we would need. While we were baking we learnt so many new words - weigh, sieve, whisk, powder, mix, pour, vanilla, bake! Our buns were delicious!
