We have been listening to the story Mr Wolf’s Pancakes to help us celebrate Shrove Tuesday!
After making our pancakes we decided to write our own instructions.
Today we went to the forest and found some very unusual objects. We found three bowls of porridge, all different sizes! We wondered who may have brought them and remembered Goldilocks and the Three Bears our class text! We pretended we were Goldilocks from the story and enjoyed eating our creamy porridge around our fire circle.
We then wrote some letter to the three bears to say sorry for eating their porridge.
We then thought of lots of different words to describe how the bears might feel know their porridge has been eaten. The children thought of some fantastic words such as disappointed, frustrated and shocked. We then recorded this in speech bubbles using the sentence stem ‘ I am..’
