Expressive Art and Design

Today Andrew came to visit Reception. He brought lots of clay and let us explore the texture of wet and dry clay. He brought lots of tools for us to use and showed us how to make different marks. Andrew also brought his Potters Wheel. We had lots of fun exploring!

On our quest to become sunflower experts we have looked at lots of different sunflower art. We have focused on the Sunflower painting by Vincent Van Gogh and have been recreating our own sunflower artwork using pastels, crayons, felt pens and watercolour.
