School Meals

At St Bede’s, we are proud to offer delicious, nutritious school dinners that are cooked fresh on site each day by our Chef Tracey and her team. Our meals are provided through the Lancashire County Council School Meals Service and are carefully planned to meet national food standards and promote healthy eating.

Children are able to pre-choose their lunch from home via ParentPay, allowing parents to see exactly what their child will be eating and to support them in making healthy choices.

Meal Entitlements and Costs

• All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Free School Meals.

• Children in Nursery, Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 may purchase a school meal at a cost of £3.00 per day.

Meals should be ordered and paid for in advance using ParentPay.

Packed Lunches

If children prefer not to have a school meal, they are welcome to bring a packed lunch from home. We kindly ask that packed lunches provide a balanced, healthy meal and do not include sweets or confectionery. We encourage families to support our healthy eating ethos by providing nutritious options that give children the energy they need for the school day.
