Music
At St Bede’s Catholic Primary School, music is an important part of life in our school. Pupils are taught by a specialist Music Teacher from Bolton Music Service, ensuring high-quality teaching across all year groups. Through our music curriculum, children explore singing, playing instruments such as recorders and clarinets, composing, performing and listening, developing confidence, creativity and musical skills.
We are proud of our school choir and the opportunities our pupils have to take part in exciting musical events, including Let’s Sing at Chorley Town Hall and watching performances by the National Youth Orchestra at Blackpool Tower. Music plays a key role in our school community, helping pupils to express themselves, collaborate and celebrate their talents.
On this page, you will find information about our Music curriculum and policies, detailing how music is taught, developed and celebrated at St Bede’s.
