Nursery
At St Bede’s Catholic Primary School, we are proud of our beautiful Nursery and the warm, nurturing environment we provide for our youngest learners.
Our Nursery is a happy, stimulating space where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn. Carefully planned indoor and outdoor areas encourage curiosity, creativity and independence, giving every child the very best start to their school journey.
Starting Nursery
We welcome children from the term following their third birthday.
Our Nursery is extremely popular and places fill quickly, so we strongly encourage parents and carers to contact the school office early to register their interest.
Nursery Sessions
Nursery sessions follow the pattern of the school day:

Morning Session: 8:30am – 11:45am

Afternoon Session: 12:45pm – 3:15pm
Children may attend additional sessions, subject to availability.
Additional Nursery sessions: £15 per session
Nursery snack contribution: £1 per week
Nursery school lunch (optional): £3 per day
Our sessions provide a balanced mix of child-initiated play and adult-led learning, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. We focus on developing communication, confidence, early reading and number skills, physical development and social skills — all through engaging, purposeful play.
Before and After School Club
To support our working families, we operate our own on-site wraparound care provision.
Breakfast Club
£5 per day
Afterschool Club
£8 per day
Our clubs provide a safe, welcoming and well-supervised environment where children can enjoy a variety of activities, including games, crafts, quiet time and outdoor play.
Payment Information
We aim to make our childcare provision accessible and convenient for families.
