This morning, Year 6 took part in their very first 'Mystery Skype' session. We successfully worked out that our mystery skype partner school were located in a small village in Croatia. They also correctly worked out that we lived in Chorley!

This afternoon, we have been inspired by Charles Darwin and his finches to investigate the best type of beaks for certain types of foods.
The whole class visited Forest School this morning. The children enjoyed building dens, whittling sticks, building slingshots and attempting to create a floating device on the pond.
Inspired by Greta Thunberg's school strikes, Year 6 led the school in a climate change protest on Friday 27th September. Despite the rain, we passionately chanted 'Save our Planet' as well as showing our climate change posters.
